We specialise in weddings and it is our passion and pride to be of assistance to our brides by helping them to make the best day of their lives, a memorable day! There is no such thing in our vocabulary as “not possible”, whatever your dream is, we will help you realise it.
Our accommodation is very basic, but comfortable, spacious and clean. Each room has it’s own toilet, shower and basin. The majority of rooms are situated in a U-shape around a sparkling pool including one flat which sleeps up to six persons and four cabins.
If you are looking for a meeting area that is relaxed, informal and tranquil, look no further than the Klip Lapa. Organisations and corporations appreciates getting away from the hustle, bustle and pollution of the City where delegates can feel refreshed and rejuvenated after their conference.
The Klip Lapa wedding venue has two unique wedding chapels to choose from. Our outdoor Lapa Chapel surrouned by rustic gardens is the ideal setting for a romantic sunset ceremony. Imagine exchanging vows with the sound of birds as background music.
The Eucaluptus forest surrounding the Forest Chapel creates a magical and serene atmosphere. This is the perfect location for couples who enjoy the romantic beauty of nature, let the whispers of these old trees' leaves carry your first kiss as husband and wife.
Set at the foot of the Langeberg mountains and nestled between the Komplotkoppe, one and a half hours drive from Cape Town you will find the Klip Lapa. The Klip Lapa is situated in Agtervinkrivier, 30 km between Robertson and Worcester, Western Cape. It is owned and run by Anna Eygelaar, who is well known in the area because of her love for, and genuine interest in, people.
Ben Eygelaar, Anna’s husband built the lapa in 1998 and they then decided to use it as a venue for weddings. The Klip Lapa is the main hall for functions which is a rustic, oval shaped, riverstone and thatch building.
Soon after starting the business they realised the need for accommodation for wedding guests which led to Ben building nine rooms. Today the Klip lapa boasts accommodation for 88 guests. The majority of rooms are set in a “U” shape with a fully equiped informal lapa with two fireplaces.
There is also a sparkling pool in the centre of the complex. Guests start arriving on the Friday afternoon and the bride and groom’s families spend time together socialising and getting to know each other in a relaxed atmosphere around the “braaivleis vure”.
"Many, many thanks to Kliplapa for the most wonderful food and hospitality. The kindness, assistance and unconditional acceptance of each decision. You were just dear and so much patience can only be appreciated and admired."
Sandra Doubell, The Van Eeden wedding.
Whatever you desire, we will make every effort to fulfill your dream.
